Every June, the rainbow flags come out. We change our company logos. Everyone’s suddenly talking about love, acceptance, and "being your true self." But these conversations shouldn’t be seasonal. They should be sustained, loud, and backed by real support.
At Feelings Found, we believe that emotional wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s sure as hell not apolitical. Pride Month is more than just parades and party playlists. It’s a time to honor the truth that showing up for your mental health while navigating queerness in a world that wasn’t built for you is a radical act. So let’s talk about it.
The Weight That Doesn’t Get Talked About Enough
LGBTQIA+ individuals face higher rates of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma, not because of who they are, but because of how they’re treated. Queer and trans youth, in particular, are more likely to feel unsupported at home, misrepresented in therapy, and outright erased in systems that claim to care.
And even within mental health spaces, it’s not always safe. Too many folks still struggle to find therapists who affirm their identities, or resources that aren’t rooted in shame or outdated models. That’s why it’s not enough to say "We support you." We have to actually show up with resources, community, and care.
Our Personal Commitment
As a brand, we’re always learning. We’re always listening. We know that allyship is a verb, not a badge. Pride is personal for many of us on the Feelings Found team and honoring it means holding space for the joy, grief, rage, resilience, and realness that lives in the LGBTQIA+ experience.
Whether you’re queer yourself or someone showing up for your chosen family, your mental health matters. It matters so much. You deserve access to support that sees all of you, not just the parts that make others comfortable.
So in the spirit of real support (not just rainbow capitalism), we’ve compiled a list of mental health resources specifically for LGBTQIA+ individuals. It’s not exhaustive, but it’s a start. If you have more, please send them our way and we promise to keep this post updated.

Let’s Keep This Going
If you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, we see you. If you’re questioning, we support you. If you’re navigating trauma, identity, or mental health in a system that doesn’t always feel safe, we believe you and we’re with you.
Pride is about presence. It’s about saying, "I’m still here," even when the world makes you want to hide. So let’s make space for joy, for softness, for safety, and for real, messy mental health support.
If you know of a resource that should be added to this list, please drop us a line. We want to keep this growing. Not just for Pride Month, but all year long.
You’re not alone.
We’re in this together.
